Review: ‘Neighbors’ is comedy gold

This is comedy gold as some would say.

Director Nicholas Stoller brings you Neighbors starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as Dad and Mom to a newborn, in a quiet and elderly neighborhood they seem to be content with their lives as newcomers to the parenting game, until one day they notice a moving truck with their new neighbors but little did they know that this would bring more problems than they could ever imagination.

At the beginning of the Frats move-in Mac (Seth Rogen) and his wife, Kelly (Rose Byrne) go over with their daughter to introduce themselves and let Teddy (Zac Efron) and his frat brother that their more than welcome to party as long as they in Mac and Kelly’s word “keep it down.”

This seems to go off without a hitch until one night unable to contact Teddy to turn the music down in a last ditch effort Mac call the police which is a humorous scene within itself leading to the all out war of neighbors.

There are hundreds of scenes that will make any viewer ball out crying from laughter, which should tell you the airbag skit is only the tip of the iceberg.

You get two see two adults go back to their college days just to get even with the brother of Delta Psi Beta.

It is very ironic that Seth is playing a character that is responsible, caring parent when in the past his role consisded of a more carefree go with the flow type of guy who usually caused the problem, almost like the character that Zac plays in this movie.

It like the role of these two actors have been switched.

But Mac isn’t a bad guy, more like a frustrated new dad pushed to extremes with no clue how to fight except by using playground rules, which again is to get even

This film in my eyes has become an instant classic and I could watch this multiple times, I give this a 4 out of 5 and would recommend that you want to see a movie that leaves you sides hurting from laughter go see “Neighbors”.
