Please join the History Department in welcoming the showing of: "From Wharf Rats to Lords of the Docks". This theatrical performance (written and performed by Ian Ruskin) is of famed labor activist Harry Bridges who was an organizer in the 1934 Maritime Strike in San Francisco. This lively performance features Bridges' own words, from his rallying speeches of the 1930s to his electrifying testimony at his own trials. The performance is approximately 65 minutes and is set to take place in the Teleconference Center on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 11:00 am - we hope you can join us.
