Financial aid was the highlight topic of the Sept. 16 Board of Trustees meeting which took place in the Cherryl A. Epple Board Room at 6 p.m.
"Without financial aid, I don't know where I would be," said Jason Balandra, student and recipient of financial aid, in a testimonial presentation aimed at reminding the board the importance of financial aid programs and services on campus.
With the new semester kicking off in full gear, a presentation by Dr. Renee Delong Chomiak, dean of Counseling Services, reminded attendees of the meeting of the many student services offered by the Cerritos College Counseling Division.
