Mrs. Kitt passes away Feb.20

This past Saturday retired, Dispensary clerk for the Cosmetology Department Ms.Sheri Kitt passed away from Liver cancer.

Nena Perria a close friend and former co-worker at the Cosmetology Department had this to say about her passing, "we kept in contact at least twice a year, we also kept in contact with christmas cards," she added,"I was shocked when I heard about her passing away, she had mentioned it in a letter she wasn't feeling well and she stated she was feeling worn out."

Aventura fan Annabel Simental, criminal justice major, said,"I was kinda nervous, but it was awesome."

SHS promotes Great American Smokeout

Student Health Services promoted the American Cancer Society’s 34th Great American Smokeout on Nov. 19.

Student body not involved in hiring

Human Resources is forming a faculty hiring committee and has decided to not include the student body in its hiring practices.
