One-liners make ‘Pineapple Express’ not all about killing and guns

“Pineapple Express” was full of classic one-liners, with James Franco portraying a very stony drug dealer which is opposite of his previous roles such as in “Spider Man.”

Seth Rogen plays your average guy with an average job who smokes pot to get by living his mediocre life.

When his dealer, Saul (Franco), introduces him to grade A weed called Pineapple Express, their lives turn into an adventure while witnessing a murder.

Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen achieve box office gold writing a movie about average stoners getting into trouble which was great from all other typical drug-mafia movies where it turns to everyone dying in the end.

This movie showed that just because you have a dealer that sells you pot, doesn’t mean it’s all about the guns and the killing.

If you watch this movie you will see that stoners try to stay away from that, and no one dies in the end.
