Metallica comes back with a vengeance

Death Magnetic, the much anticipated new album from Metallica, certainly pleases old and new fans alike.

Leaving behind the flop of St. Anger, Metallica comes back with a vengeance on this album, encompassing what Metal really means.

The album has 10 tracks, including one instrumental, which had been unheard of from Metallica for the past 20 years; since And Justice for All.

This album has many first for Metallica. It is their first album to be produced by musical genius, Rick Rubin. It is also the first to feature their current bassist, Robert Trujillo.

This album is also the first Metallica’s history in which all band members contributed to each song on the album.

Each track is at least 6 minutes, with the longest being almost 10. All tracks have a very instrumental intro, with the legendary Metallica riffs that fans are accustomed to.

The album will be released on September 12, and it will be distributed under the Warner Bros. label.

Metallica will be performing December 17 and 18 at The Forum in Inglewood, promoting Death Magnetic.
