The cosmetology department creates art with beauty on a personal approach by using their imagination as a make-up artist, and being able to create an image on an individual that they achieve with their very own hands. Cerritos College Cosmetology teaches you techniques that pertain to hair, as well as nail care and skin care. Both forms of art are based on their appearance and meaning and are temporary images that once created only last in pictures or memories.
