The 2016 Chevy Cruz offers a smooth ride for college students

Thinking about getting a new car? Staff writer Taylor Taylor Sean Ogata reviews and gives insight on all the features that the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze has to offer.

Day in and day out, there are a lot of cars in the parking lots at Cerritos College, but there is one car that appears to be very popular among college students.

The Cruze features a smooth ride, acceptable gas mileage, internet connectivity, which is what college students need, and all kinds of cool features.

The Chevrolet Cruze is found in almost every single parking lot, which means that a lot of college students choose it over any other car.

The Cruze, like most Chevy vehicles, comes in six different trims: L, LS, 1LT, 2LT, LTZ, and ECO.

There are about five Chevy Cruze vehicles in a parking lot on campus every single day.

The trim that is most found in Cerritos College parking lots is the 1LT.

The 2016 Cruze 1LT has the features that a lot of college students would expect in a new car.

The engine in the vehicle is a 1.4 liter ECOTEC turbo four-cylinder engine, which provides the vehicle 138 horsepower and 148 foot-pounds of torque.

It is also very fuel efficient with an EPA estimated 26 MPG city and 38 MPG highway for an overall 30 MPG.

The Cruze’s six-speed automatic transmission is the kind of transmission that college students would use the most of since stick-shift vehicles can be hard to drive and are out of style today.

The exterior of the Cruze features 16-inch painted aluminum wheels with P215/60R16 all-season black wall tires along with halogen headlamps and LED daytime-running lamps.

On the inside, front bucket premium cloth seats with reclining seat backs and adjustable head restraints make it a comfortable seat while driving or riding in.

There is also a center console with a sliding arm rest along with a remote, keyless entry, and cruise control in the vehicle.

For everyone’s entertainment there is an AM/FM stereo with a CD player and MP3 connectivity as well as bluetooth for hands-free phone conversations.

There is even a six speaker audio interface which includes an auxiliary input jack as well as a USB port for connecting an iPod or any other device to play through the system.

Other features that college students like are the Chevrolet MyLink touch screen and OnStar 4G LTE WiFi for connecting devices while riding in the car.

There are also features from Sirius XM Satellite Radio which show the weather, movie theaters, and gas stations on the way.

It’s a great car all around.
