D23 has concluded their three-day expo showing off an abundance of new information and announcements regarding the future of Disney’s streaming service, their movies from its respected studios and their theme park attractions.

On the first day of the convention they announced more information on their new streaming service, Disney Plus, which will stream television series and movies, including trailers of current films like “The Mandalorin,” “The World According To Jeff Goldblum” and “Lady and the Tramp.”

In addition, they also announced three new Marvel shows — “Ms. Marvel,” “Moon Knight” and “She-Hulk.”

A new Star Wars show, which focuses on Obi-Wan Kenobi with Ewan McGregor reprising his role in the show was announced as well.

Saturday was a day for film enthusiasts.

D23 showcased their movie panel where they talked about and showed clips, concept arts, trailers and release dates for their upcoming films. Some of which included “Black Panther II” that is set to begin filming on May 6, 2022.

“Eternals” cast actor Kit Harrington, who starred in the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” as the Black Knight.

“Black Widow,” “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” and “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” trailers were released and shown to the audience at the panels.

Announcement of a Cruella film, Pixar’s films like “Onward” and “Souls,” a new trailer for “Frozen II” as well as a new animated movie called “Raya and The Last Dragon” will be premiering on Thanksgiving of next year.

Trailers for Disney’s upcoming film “Jungle Cruise” was also shown, which is based on the ride that is in Disneyland Park.

As well as a small discussion about “Mulan” including clips from the film.

On the final day of the convention, the Disney theme parks and resorts with Bob Chapek, chairman of parks, experiences and products, announced new attractions to current Disney parks around the world.

Attractions mentioned were Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railroad, with both at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, along with a brief showing on Galaxies Edges new attraction Rise of the Resistance.

The new Marvel land has been announced as Avengers Campus and will have attractions and activities based on Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Avengers, and Black Panther.

Epcot will also be receiving new attractions and lands. For, example a Mary Poppins ride, Guardians roller coaster and some new shows and parades for each park.

The larger panels focused on their upcoming movies, shows and attractions that will make a debut throughout 2019 to 2022 and beyond.

Though they did included smaller panels, one focused on the “Simpsons” and spoke about the new season.

Another panel was about the music of “Aladdin,” which included talk about venues and stores to buy some old and new merchandise from.

One thing to consider is if D23 is something of interest, purchase tickets as early as possible, seeing as how Disney has a large following.

Planning in advance is also suggested, otherwise, attendees may find themselves waiting in long lines.

Overall, the things that were shown during the three days would excite any Disney fan, whether they like Star Wars, Marvel or if they’re a regular Disney fan, there was something for everyone.
