The Cerritos College baseball team was eliminated from the Southern California Regionals Sunday with a 5-1 defeat at the hands of defending state champion Riverside City College.
The Falcons (26-16), who were dealt their first loss in the double elimination tournament by Glendale College, 4-1, came back the next day to defeat Allan Hancock College, 12-10.
With the win, Cerritos advanced to play the host Tigers, who were coming off of a 9-5 loss to Glendale.
The Falcon bats produced only one run on five hits, and their season was over.
