The Most Outstanding Classified Employee for the 2000-2001 school year was Purchasing Secretary Clerk Frances Foster.

Foster and other outstanding classified employees were honored at a special ceremony May 24.

Foster began her career with the district as a Student Hourly Employee and in 1986 became a permanent employee in the Purchasing Department as the Secretary Clerk. Her commitment to the Purchasing Department and the District is matchless. She is a dedicated and loyal employee who is always willing to stay late in order to meet a deadline. Her duties include preparation of the Board Agenda, and her ability to assist those in need is second to none. At the end of July, Foster will be retiring and moving to Northern California to live.
