The Cerritos College men’s soccer team has started out with a great round of what will be two weeks of playing on the road.
The Falcons beat Citrus College, 1-0 Friday, and now have a record of 2-1 for the season.
Jorge Vargas scored the Falcons’ only goal.
After playing Glendale Tuesday, the Falcons will be at Cypress Wednesday and at Mt. San Antonio College Friday.
After losing a 4-2 decision to Victor Valley Sep. 29 at home, the Falcons were scheduled to play in the Apache Tournament at Southwestern College in Chula Vista over the weekend.
That tournament was cancelled because only three of the eight teams scheduled signed up.
The Falcons will return home Sep. 21 to play the East Los Angeles College Huskies.
