The Cerritos College men’s waterpolo team lost one game and won three at the Ventura Tournament.
The Falcons lost to Riverside, 23-7, but beat Los Angeles Valley College, 10-2, Rio Hondo, 12-6 and Ohlone College, 15-5.
The team will play at El Camino on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and will play in the Ventura Challenge Thursday.
The Falcons have 42 goals as a team. Daniel Garcia leads the team with 20 goals.Bryan Brown has eight goals for the season.
Duje Kaliterna leads the team in steals with 11.
Goalkeeper Jonny Zegarra has 25 saves, followed by Kris Nordbak with 17.
The Cerritos College women’s waterpolo team lost three games at the Cypress Invitational. The women lost to Cypress College, 15-3, Merced, 18-2 and Los Angeles Valley College, 19-4.
They will play at El Camino on Wednesday at 4 p.m., then they play in the El Camino Mini Tournament on Saturday.
Megan Robles leads the team with four goals and two assists.
