Salsa — the hottest Latin dance of all time — is now here at Cerritos College. And everyone is invited to learn how to dance it.

Salsa Club teaches students on campus how to dance salsa. Members pay a small one-time fee of $10 per semester — which is a deal, compared to the $20 average cost of salsa lessons in the community.

The Salsa Club will meet on Thursdays starting Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. in room CE4. Lessons take place at every meeting.

The instructors, David Rodriguez and Edna Melendez, are both Cerritos students and have been part of a dance team.

Anyone interested in having fun, interacting with others, and learning to dance is welcome to give the Salsa Club a try.

Rozy Aguilar, a member of the Salsa Club, insists, “You can never be too busy to salsa.”
