The Falcons’ playoff run ended Wednesday against the Orange Coast Pirates as they fell 55-47 after being unable to hang onto a 25-23 halftime lead.
Held to 29.3 percent shooting for the game and 24.1 percent in the second half, Cerritos 20-12, which beat the Pirates 64-44 early in the season, couldn’t maintain an offensive rhythm.
LaVonne Amete led the Falcons with 15 points and nine rebounds, and Tiffany Amete had 10 points.
OCC now 26-7 was led by Alisa Carrillo with 19 points.
