It’s over and its official, Talon Marks iPod winner is Renée Bloch, Cerritos College Classified employee.
The drawing took place Monday. Rich Cameron walked into the Fine Arts office and said hello to Bloch and tells her she has just won the Talon Marks iPod giveaway, “Oh my god, I won,” said Bloch.
The Talon Marks contest was receivied very well with a total of 109 entries including the winning one. “I waited to see if I would win the contest before I decided to buy one,” Bloch said.
Talon Marks offered a weekly contest in the newspaper and online at Talonmarks.com. This contest consisted of completing a weekly crossword puzzle and turning it in to the Talon Marks. Every issue was a chance to enter your name in the drawing for the iPod.
Bloch has serving the as a classified employee for nine years here at Cerritos College.
“I was elated and surprised and most of all excited to win,” Bloch said.
She said, I’d enjoy using the iPod during my breaks and in between classes, when I like to take walks around the school.
“I want to collect music, photos and most of all my graduation pictures that I have saved in my office,” Bloch said.
As she opens her iPod packaging, she said this is a great time in my life, I got a new computer, a new cell phone, a car loan and recently just graduating from Cerritos College, and now most of all winning this iPod from the Talon Marks.
“I can count my blessings, to God and I will be prepared for what is to come,” Bloch said.
Bloch said, “I want to thank all the Talon Marks staff for thinking of an good incentive for their readership. I was glued to the paper each week.”
