Several members of the Orange County Star Wars Society will visit Cerritos College Saturday for 90 minutes beginning at 6:30pm. They will be guests of radio station WPMD On the Net and Vince Daniels, host of the talk-variety show The Many Moods of Vince Daniels. The purpose of their visit will be to talk about the forthcoming Star Wars movie Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and also to catch listeners up on the storyline of the two “Star Wars” trilogies that have been part of their collective movie going experiences since 1977. Robert Estrada (AKA Robeewankenobe) is the supreme chancellor of this local fan based society. In preparation for thier radio appearance, he insisted that he and the group come to the WPMD studios dressed in Revenge of the Sith garb. According to Estrada, “We are planning an invasion.” In addition, Daniels plans to explore the psychology and mindset surrounding Star Wars fandom.
