Human Clock

Best waste of time, ever!

Hundreds of people from around the world take pictures of themselves while showing with a set of numbers that relates to a certain time (say, “8:17”), and submit them to this site.

For every minute of every hour, a new photo is shown with the current time. Both analog and digital clocks are available, and new photos are featured every month.

The appeal is in the different ways the numbers are seen on the photos. Some are creative, like “1:00” seen through a car’s headlights, while some are rather ho-hum, like the ones that show real life, well, clocks.

Also notable is its Time Song Database, which seeks to catalog every song with a reference to time in it. Like Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”: “It’s nine o’clock on a Saturday.”
