Campus radio cuts costs

The Cerritos College campus radio WPMD has been the latest department to be affected by the increasing budget cuts as the station saw its instructional aides take a 50 percent cut in their hours.

This cut has directly affected the radio station as students are now responsible for producing the same quality programming without the much needed help that had been available to them in previous years.

WPMD instructional aide Dennis Clare stated, “I believe it will impact the program because the cuts mean there will be less time to help students with the production of the radio.”
