The Angel Tree arrived at the Cerritos College bookstore for it’s ninth annual time. The Angel Tree is a way of giving back to children in need this holiday season.
The Cerritos College bookstore works with the Social Services of Norwalk to make it possible for students, and staff to donate.
The tree is brought to the bookstore and has angel cut outs hanging, in the ornament there is the name of a child along with information regarding clothing size.
Kristina Stardent, English major, feels joyful about being able to be a part of the Angel Tree event, “It is exciting to be able to give through Cerritos to the kids who need the most.”
The donations will be picked up from Cerritos Wednesday, but it is still possible to donate through the Social Services of Norwalk through.
