Having two wrestlers become champions, and five others place at the the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) last season, Cerritos College wrestling coach Don Garriott is optimistic about next fall.
When asked about what he was going to do differently next season, he stated that the team ‘dealt with a lot last season.’
‘We had some individuals who were very distracting to the team, guys who I planned on being the starters, and we had to replace those guys,’ said Garriott. ‘I think that one thing I need to do, is maybe not be so patient. If guys aren’t cutting it right at the beginning, then we have to get them out at the beginning.’
