Cerritos vs ELAC

On Oct 20 Cerritos College soccer team faced off East Los Angeles College at a game on Cerritos that started at 4:00 p.m were every thing seem to be going well and anything was possible for the home team.

But it wasn’t 20 minutes after into the game rain started pouring and taking its told on the home team as well as the opposing team while the rain began pouring and the thunder began thundering it looked like it wasn’t nothing for soccer player number 20 Edwin Chavez from executing and scoring the first goal at the competition 25 minutes into the game.

Their after the game begun to be more intense as the visiting team began hustling for the ball and made it more difficult for home team players form doing their strategic tactics

After many battle attempts into the game of trying to scored a goal as both team struggle for the top spot to success its began to looked like it started to get its told on both teams as they show signs of ego taking over the game and the atmosphere of the game was like two empires going to war for the crown.

But once again it didn’t stop Cerritos player number nine Edgar Melendez from overcoming the coos and running threw the battle of the game to scoring the second goal of the game on the visiting team 40 minutes into the game

Right after the second goal home team player number 16 Briant Reyes was about to score a goal and got push by has rival number four as he had show signs of revenge and determination but it didn’t stop the home team from stepping up the plate and started to play aggressively but was not able to finish, cause half time was over were the score was Cerritos two with four shots on goal and east la college zero with two shots on goal.

As Cerritos college started their break number 18 Facundo Bruno said about the competition” i think they are good players as well as a good team” 15 minutes later the game started competition began showing signs of destiny with many desperate attempts to score with each one just being a failure as they try all the tricks of the book to accomplish it.

But what it did is get Cerritos home team mad and apply their tactics were number 11 Adan was successful on scoring a goal at the visitors 20 minutes into the second half of the game were the score was three to zero home team up with six shots on goal and visitor zero with four shots on goal.

As the game began to intense and the visiting team began getting dispread it begun to look like a walk at the park for the home team but it was not long after number 45 from the visiting team on scoring at Cerritos right after number 9 Cesar Castillo scored a goal on visiting team. With only 15 minutes to go once again the visiting team score a goal.

As the game began to become more intense in the last two minutes it ended, with the score four to two home team up with seven shots on goal and visiting team two with five shots on goal.

Right after the game finished Cerritos College soccer coach Benny Artiaga was very proud at he’s team and said ” I love it was a great game for us we came in as a group one of the most positive it just really good to attack and defend as a group.

Another player that was in the game number 16 Brian Reyes also said something about the competition and said “I think they are a organized team they probably could compete with other teams in the lead”.
