Spanish professor Froylan Cabuto and economics professor Diane Keenan were selected for the study abroad trip to Spain on Friday, April 29.

Cabuto will be teaching Spanish and Keenan will be teaching an economics and political science course.

The professors will cover nine units each with their courses, for a total of 18 units.

A prospective student interested in the program would need to enroll and maintain a 12 unit schedule

For the program to be available, a minimum of 25 students would have to be signed up.

Vice President of Academic Affairs Bill Farmer stated, “In fall of 2011 we will start having meetings that will give students a chance to come and hear about the program from me, and the professors.

“(This will give students) a clearer idea of what it will be like,” Farmer said.

 The estimate cost of the trip is expected to cost between $6,000-$7,000 not including the cost of the flight.
