Ray Comfort, known as the banana guy on YouTube, and Tony Miano of the Living Waters Publication Ministries came to Cerritos College to preach on Aug. 17.
While preaching to students, Adam Rodriguez, a film major, got into a debate with Comfort about the way he approaches people.
Rodriguez then told Comfort that he would like to debate him in the middle of Falcon Square with podiums, tables and chairs.
Comfort then asked some students to sit down and asked if they felt like he was being rude toward them.
They answered, saying, “not really.”
Rodriguez said, “Ray was extremely rude and not tolerant of the status quo.”
Comfort said he would be back to preach the word of God.
