First time students planning to attend Cerritos College will be required to take assesment testing prior to enrollment starting Spring semester of 2012.

Assessment testing will be available for students this Spring semester to ensure students will have enough time to meet this requirement.

Campus News Hour speaks to Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs Marilyn Brock on this issue.

Reports of on campus bicycle thefts have increased since the start of the fall semester and according to Cerritos College Chief of Police, Richard Bukowiecki, students may not be able to do anything other than invest in better locks.

This weeks ‘Free Speech Zone’ asks the student body what they think of the repealing of the ‘Don’t ask, Don’t tell’ policy in the United States Military, allowing gay servicemen and women to serve openly.

Demolitions, renovation and construction of buildings will take place on campus from 2012 to 2016, according to the Cerritos College Facilities Master Plan, which could be approved as early as November. ‘Campus News Hour’ speaks to Cerritos College President / Superintendent Linda Lacy for more details on the project.

Along with the growing interest that Cerritos College students express in theatre comes the desire to grow beyond campus productions. Urban Theatre Movement has once again been the company to fulfill those needs.
