Information on certificate, degree, and transfer programs for a variety of majors will be available for students on Nov. 15 at the Cerritos College All Majors Fair at the Library Sidewalk from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The deadline for departments to register for a booth is Wednesday.

According to Re-Entry Resource Program Specialist for Cerritos College, Shannon Estrada, 15 departments have already signed up including English, cosmetology, nursing, and sociology.

“It will most likely be faculty members who will be representing each major, although, since some of them will be teaching during the time of the fair, there also may be club members out there as well if that major has a club,” Estrada said.

The fair is free and available to all students interested in learning more about their major they want to get into.

“We’ll be doing a drawing after the fair for those students who fill out a survey telling us what they thought of the All Majors Fair. We have some awesome prizes that they can win such as free passes to The Laugh Factory, gift certificates for BJ’s, Chipotle, The Cheesecake Factory and many more.”
