Big money spending needs to stop in these times

America is experiencing one of the worst economic periods in the country’s existence and big money is being spent in a very negative way.

Citizens are losing homes and jobs, and because of America’s lack for natural resources, every necessity needed has risen in cost.

It seems that the entire country, including the thriving businesses would be suffering and have suffered, even to the point of bankruptcy.

But the banks that have lost billions and have been bailed out by our tax dollars manage to take that money and, instead of giving it back to help fluctuate the economy, they actually go out and party with it.

It was been recently reported that senior executives from Wells Fargo planned an expensive trip to Las Vegas after just a few days of being bailed out by government funds, reportedly $35 billion in bail out money.

The very next day after that trip had been nationally reported, the vacation had been cancelled.

Bank of America, which just bought out Merrill Lynch, gave a Super Bowl party for the Pittsburg Steelers in Florida and although expenses were not disclosed, it simply called it a business proposition with the NFL.

Barack Obama is currently in the process of trying to get votes and support from banks and other businesses to install a stimulus package that will help create four million jobs.

It seems that the companies that have taken money to keep them afloat have proven that greed definitely still exist, even in the worst time for the countries economy.

Although there is a Democrat as president of the country, corporate America still seems to be Republican-minded, doing whatever is necessary to keep the wealthy, wealthy and the poor and middle class likewise.

Even when Obama reached out to John McCain for support, McCain stayed in his stubborn ways, still stressing the importance of budget cuts and foreign policy.

Those issues are very important for the country but not at this time.

The primary focus should be to fix the trials and tribulations that we face right here in America and then go out and worry about foreign relations.

The obvious moral to this story is for citizens to plan ahead, save as much as possible, and do what is best to insure the financial security of your families the best way you can.

A new law has been passed that if senior executives receive government money to reestablish their companies, then they personally can not get a salary over $500,000.

These greedy corporations may have the support of the past government but it is clear that Obama has a stiff plan to get the total economy back on track.

The president may have promised a lot in his campaign but, he is dealing with the most important issue first.

The fact that these businesses (just to name a few) have taken our hard earned tax dollars, gotten there companies back on track, and then go out and actually waste and party with the remainder, is a slap in the face and an insult to us all.

They are literally just throwing away billions and giving bonuses within their companies to circulate the currency within themselves.

The fact that there is a law in place which protects their right to spend their money anyway they like is simply ridiculous, especially when they received it right out of our pockets.

If the country as a whole is to see any positive improvements, the right bills need to be supported and passed before the economy plummets completely.
