The average male college student would most likely jump for joy having heard such a law was passed, but it is a terrible idea for America to pass an equal topples law for both genders.

At this time it is illegal for women to walk around in public bare chested and although it is not fair that men are able to, it is logical.

In most cases nudity may be harmless, but when children and unwanted viewers are present for the show, it becomes a terrible idea.

There is no way to choose who will be at the street in which you are walking on, while you are exercising your freedom.

The first reason why this law is a bad idea is because it would force parents to have to have the “sex talk” a lot earlier than expected.

In an already dark world, is it really a good idea to expose our offspring to strangers exposing their chest? Man or women.

Secondly, Women already complain about being looked at as objects; would passing a law really help that cause?

In fact, it may be a couple of steps backward for women’s movements toward equality.

Between the stares and looks of disgust, women could possibly be at a greater risk of sexual abuse.

Exposing oneself in public may leave an open door for the many rapists who right now, still commit sexually abusive crimes while women are not exposing themselves.

The cases of sexual abuse would drastically rise and leave the public more fearful then they already are.

Why not enjoy nudity in the comfort of your own home, without the fear of offending someone or risk abuse.

Public nudity is basically showing the world “what you got,” not to show you are free.

If this law is passed, the civil rights of women to walk freely without coverage can possibly lead to stricter laws elsewhere, and the visual-pollution may be opening the envelope to even more unwanted consequences.

Such as laws including complete nudity for both males and females; while you first may think of the most attractive celebrity nude, the public is most likely going to be the same people you are around right now.

Take a look and tell me this law wouldn’t bring unwanted visuals.
