The Way Young Adult Females Dress On Halloween Has Gotten Out Of Control

What are women really saying about themselves when they show up in a public place as a short skirted school girl because it’s Halloween?

The way a large majority of college age females choose to dress for the holiday has gotten completely out of control, as women choose to flaunt their bodies with minimal clothing to fit in.

Whenever October rolls around, it’s always enjoyable to google fun Halloween costume ideas for that neighborhood party you will be attending toward the end of the month.

Children’s costumes always showcase the popular cartoons or television shows that every child loves to watch.

Older adults seem to opt toward more comedic costumes, such as nuns and overweight tourists.

People of any age can always find a uniformed costume perfect for the spooky night, with firefighters and police officers always being some of the favorites.

The ages in between, however, have found themselves within a competition of who can show the most skin and not the best costume.

College women walk into a party sporting a bra with matching panties and a pair of wings claiming to be a butterfly.

Sexy nurses find themselves needing a real doctor after a long night out as they have come down with hypothermia due to a lack of fabric covering their bodies.

The once innocent nursery rhyme characters from our story books begin strapping on their high heels, fish nets, and short skirts, making people second guess what used to help cradle them to sleep at night.

How did a yearly holiday that represents the eve of All Hallows, the Western Christian feast, turn into a night of scantily-dressed women who have lost all forms of respect for themselves?

Flashing your body around to complete strangers because it’s Halloween is absolutely the incorrect way to treat yourself.

The feelings that these women have a need to poorly dress themselves in front of numerous people in order to feel pretty and accepted is proof of a misrepresentation we have allowed to unfold in front of us.

Women need to find their beauty from the inside, not from the clothes (or lack of) that they wear.

The types of people that will be attracted to these horrendous outfits are typically the types that most women shouldn’t find themselves with in the first place.

Not only is it a threat to the self-esteem and respect of women, but the safety as well.

Who knows what could go through a drunken males mind when he sees provocative clothing than what is sold at Baby Gap on a 22 year-old woman.

If these rituals continue, these outfits could develop into something even more disastrous than what our daughters will be wearing in the future.

Once you realize that it’s your child that is wearing these “costumes” and not your college age girlfriend, a call for respect will be demanded.

These demands need to be pushed forward now before it is too late.

As soon as these costume purchases come down, designers will find the need to cover up the bodies of the people their products are being purchased by.

A domino effect will occur, and the once cute and fun idea of dressing up on Halloween will no longer be uncomfortable for both the person wearing the outfit and the people that have to look at it.
