Don’t get too comfortable with ObamaCare

Starting Tuesday, President Barack Obama will finally be able to protect us from the high expenses of health insurance. However, this is not a reason to get complacent with how your current situation is.

Obamacare is a government subsidized health care system that will allow adults to be able to be covered by their parents’ health insurance, but will be separate from private health insurance.

The average price is $328 of health insurance across the United States and the law hopes to add around seven million people in the first year, with 2.7 million being young adults.

About 15 percent of the population doesn’t have health insurance, but by next year, almost everyone will be required to have some sort of health insurance, whether its private or ObamaCare.

Also, if your insurance doesn’t spend at least 80 percent of your premium, then you get a rebate to get some of that money back.

This is an excellent idea with how difficult it still might be to get a job that pays well enough to afford health insurance.

This is another opportunity for everyone under 26 to have more time to get out of school and be able to start your career.

Everyone is not going to be able to just sit under their parents’ care forever, so start now and get prepared to go out and get ready to support yourself.

After 26, all of the expenses of health insurance fall on your shoulder and it doesn’t matter whether you are ready or not. That time is coming.

Yes, college has become a longer process with all of the budget cuts, but the value of a college degree makes it worth it all.

Most college students already have some sort of income and have to make a plan of what to spend and what to save.

Under Obamacare however, employers will have to provide health care to their employees if they have more than 50 full-time employees, so many employers are starting to cut hours to avoid that obligation.

When hours get cut, you make less money and it becomes harder for you to live comfortably in this world.

So while the plan has many positives, it also has some negatives that will definitely affect you if you are not prepared.
