Why you should transfer? Because, thats why!

At community colleges, students are given the same education any four year university, such as privates, Cal States, UC’s, and ivy leagues do. The difference is the title and the fact community colleges are not considered “prestigious” schools.

The classes students take are ultimately the same; the textbooks may not have all of the same information, but the subjects are initially the same thing and are never going to change.

Many people acquire success without never attending school. Some do not even graduate high school and end up making millions. Whether they start their own businesses or utilize technology, such as creating apps or making videos on YouTube, people find various ways to make money without an education.

Other people find success by special talents they have such as singing, playing an instrument, acting, or sports. Many people are not necessarily book smart or motivated, which is why they don’t even bother going to school, but they have the intelligence and motivation to make something out of themselves no matter the cost.

The people that have made millions out of their own hard work without going to school are admirable and gifted, but only a handful of people have been able to do that. Some have attended college, but then dropped out half way into college. For example, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg who are now both billionaires!

So why is transferring important? Why is going to a higher education school expected from society?

The truth is, earning a bachelor’s degree and expanding one’s education is a smart idea because it unlocks many doors that may benefit their careers. Living in a country where opportunity is given to all should not be wasted by anyone; if people attend college and have high expectations for themselves, why not exceed their goals? Why not aim for the unimaginable?

An associate’s degree may get some individuals a head start in their career, but a bachelor’s degree, master’s or a PhD is what is going to get them farther in life and more likely to live a comfortable and wealthy life.

The name of the school is going to give people more prestige and definitely more opportunities to find jobs and start their careers. The school one attends speaks louder and appeals more than what people actually know.

These avenues of opportunities can be achieved by anyone if they have both the intelligence and determination to conquer them and no degree is exactly required. However, the higher the degree, the more currency they will receive and the more chances of triumph in life they will get.

So is transferring such a bright idea? Most definitely and you should not settle just for a bachelor’s degree, but strive to be higher and better than the person you dream of becoming.
