The Cerritos College softball team has compiled a 34-11 record during its quest to return to the state tournament for the first time since its 2008 championship run but one team has stood in its way.

The Mount San Antonio College Mounties has put together a 3-1 record against the Falcons, including a win that decided the winner of the South Coast Conference and most recently, an 11-0 five-inning win that pushed Cerritos on the brink of elimination from the Super Regionals.

The teams will meet again on Sunday at noon and if the Falcons win that match, they will play again at 2 p.m.
