Assistant coach Eric Gould said that the outcome isn’t what’s important but rather the technique as the Cerritos College wrestling team prepares for its season opener on the road at the Mt. San Antonio Duals on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9:00 a.m.
Cerritos College, along with several other local schools will be partaking in the meet.

174 pounders Christian Milian and Kyle Pivovaroff

197 pounders George Knight and Tyler Smith
285 pounders Michael Rivera and Weston Hawkins
Last season at the duals, Cerritos lost 27-13.
Sophomore wrestler Cox said that he feels he will do a lot better this first meet than last season’s.
“We had tough guys last year. We’re hungry for it and most of us have already been there last year so we’re pushing each other. I think we’ll do alot better.”
