Attend Cerritos College’s second annual Family Resource Fair that will provide local families with access to essential health, education and support services. This event, “Tu Familia, Tu Comunidad,” will take place on Friday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m in Cerritos College’s Student Center.
This event’s main purpose is to help inform and introduce students and community members to a variety of services that can help benefit their long-term well-being. To make this event accessible to everyone, those in charge will offer resources and materials in both English and Spanish.
Those attending the event will have the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered by local agencies. Organizations that will be a part of this event will include AltaMed, LA County Public Health, and experts in mental health resources, immigration and family support.
With this, there will be on-site help with financial aid and other educational opportunities.
Providing these resources and opportunities shows how Cerritos College is committed to providing valuable resources to students and the surrounding community.
This college resource fair is a single accessible location that helps attendees work through the complex environment of public and private support systems.
The event is free and open to the public, including students, families and community members alike. There will be free parking in Lot 10 in white stalls only for those attending the event.
For any further details or questions, those attending are encouraged to contact the primary organizers via email at [email protected] or [email protected].
By providing these resources directly to the people, Cerritos College continues to serve as a main role in supporting the community’s health and future.
