LGBTQ+ Career Planning Workshop

April 30, 2024This workshop is designed to provide students with empowering tools in to aid them in becoming LGBTQ+ professionals moving into the workforce. Students will engage in thought-provoking conversations and skill building exercises that encourage self-advocacy and consideration around LGBTQ+ inclusion in an academic or professional environment.

Microsoft Powerpoint Workshop

May 2, 2024For students who would like to learn how to set-up a basic PowerPoint presentation and to present a PowerPoint with confidence. You will learn to: Format your presentation; Insert and manipulate pictures; including Custom Transparent Overlays; Create and insert Videos; Insert QR codes; Create Smart Art Graphics and tables; and much more. You will also learn how to add slide and sound transitions. These free small-group sessions last 60 minutes. Please register for the session in advance. May 3, 2024A Chorus Line comes to the Performing Arts Center at Cerritos College on the Main Stage. It's a multidisciplinary collaboration between Theatre, Dance, and Music. A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer, as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers. Featuring memorable songs, "One", "I Hope I Get It", "What I Did for Love" and other favorites. Seven performances between May 3-12.
