Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Talon Marks Sports Podcast. I’m your host, Duran Ventura, and today we are going to recap the Falcons 3-0 win over the Coyotes. The Falcons, they did it. They snapped their three-game losing streak with a dominant performance in Compton.
In the first half, Falcons defender Jenna Santos played magnificent, making great runs through the midfield and into the box, creating chances for her team. Falcons forward Melissa Martinez opened the scoring to make it 1-0, and added a second for herself.
Falcons head coach Yvette Vascones subbed in Falcons midfielder Christian Rodriguez, and she came in to seal it for the Falcons as Ramirez came into the box, scored to make it 3-0 to seal the victory for the Falcons.
After the game, I interviewed Ramirez on her two goal game performance. She said, It feels really good. I feel like it’s good since I got the first goal of the season. I finally matched up with that.
