Talon Marks

David Jenkins
My name is David Jenkins and I'm a staff writer at Talon Marks. I became fond of journalism and the news in genera,l my senior year of high school during the 2008 election. Having a U.S history class in the middle of election season really helped me embrace the teachings of the class. Even though I was just 17 at the end of the 08 election and could not vote I still found myself diving into political literature. After high school I got myself into political theory and philosophy through the internet and began taking classes in 2012 just in time for voting for the first time. In my eight years of reading and following the news I've decided to try and be a part of it. Whether it be by writing or by word of mouth, I'm determined to speak both the truth and my mind.
