On August 26, DJ Kalambres was playing some of the popular music of today in Falcon Square.

After a rough day of school, it could not have been any more fitting than to sit under a shaded tree and listen to some good music.

DJ Kalambres has been a disc Jockey for Mijo Entertainment, a mobile disc jockey service, for a little more than a year.

He said, “I like to play all kinds of music. I like to mix it up.”

Kalambres was playing the hottest from Chris Brown, T-Pain and Rihanna.

Cerritos students did not show any problems with the variety of music being played as fellow Falcons seemed to have enjoyed themselves.

Richard Mojica, director of Mijo Entertainment, explained the music played by DJ Kalambres: “He keeps it clean and plays mostly pop.”

Mojica also said DJ Kalambres will be playing at all the upcoming home basketball games and at other events Cerritos College would like him to play at.

Mojica explained that Kalambres can also be found at local parties including weddings and quinceneras.

Kalambres really enjoys playing at Cerritos College that he has even considered attending next spring semester.
