ASCC will be hosting their annual leadership conference on Wednesday, January 4 (meet on campus at 8:30am) through Friday, January 6, 2023 (return to campus by 3:30pm) at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead. 

The ASCC Leadership Retreat is a 3-day residential retreat where students will learn and practice leadership skills in a group setting at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead.  Transportation, session materials, lodging (shared room with own bed and bathroom, in a condolet), and food are included, and while there is no cost to students, a $40 deposit is required to secure your spot (it will be refunded when the retreat is over).

• Keynote Address by Dr. Jose Fierro, College President/Superintendent
• Leadership Panel and Networking with the Board of Trustees

Once the application has been submitted the student MUST submit the refundable deposit* in person at the Office of Student Activities in Auto Partners ($40 cash, exact change required)

Your application will be denied if the deposit isn't received within 2 business days of the submission of the application. If your club is planning to cover your fee, the requisition for payment must be submitted within 2 business days.

NOTE:  Once we have 60 paid applications we will maintain a paid waiting list of up to 20 individuals.  After that point the application will be closed.

*The $40 deposit will be refunded to students who attend and positively participate in the Leadership Retreat, as outlined in the CODE OF CONDUCT FOR COLLEGE & ASCC SPONSORED ACTIVITIES form all participants must agree to prior to departure. Students who cancel after the application deadline (November 18), do not show up to or attend the retreat, and/or do not follow the Code of Conduct guidelines will forfeit their deposit.

Students are eligible to attend the conference only if they meet the requirements below:

• Current Cerritos College student in good standing (CC Catalog, page 27)

• Enrolled in a minimum of five (5) units during Fall 2022 at Cerritos College

• Is an ASCC member (paid student activities fee)
