Student Accessibility Services (SAS), Black/Africana Studies Department, Visual and Cultural Studies, and Falcons Rising invite you to join Amaree McKenstry-Hall for a screening of his film, Audible, followed by a discussion and social. The documentary, Audible, is through the lens of African American high school football player Amaree McKenstry and his friends at Maryland School for the Deaf, including Jalen Perry, Lera Walkup, and Teddy Webster. Viewers get an intimate look at the unique uncertainties that come with a Deaf student’s senior year. Audible is a unique, deeply moving film that offers viewers a rare glimpse into the life of an African American Deaf athlete.
