GIPS is the Cerritos College Department of Theatre Arts resident improv touring troupe.

For 35 years, multiple generations of the Generic Improvisational Peep Show (GIPS) have been touring elementary and high schools to entertain and engage with local communities as theatre ambassadors of Cerritos College. Originated by Professor Kevin Hoggard, the group has kept with tradition of making things up on the spot through short form improv games. Members have used their training with GIPS in multiple fields in and outside of the entertainment industry.
