The Seattle Seahawks went in as the underestimated underdogs and came out the grand champions of the Superbowl.

Their opponents, the Denver Broncos, have magnificent defense, but it seemed as if their defense was on their day off.

The game started at a quick pace; twelve seconds into the game Peyton Manning failed to catch a spiked ball, giving the Seahawks a two points by a safety. During one touchdown as the Seahawks’ Percy Harvin went for the touchdown, the Broncos players seemed to be running behind him at leisurely pace. Bronco fans must have felt disappointed as their team dropped balls and failed to catch others.

Seahawk fans on the other hand felt ecstatic and surprised as their offense pummeled the supposed strong defense of the Broncos. By the 29 point mark, it seemed as if Bronco fans tuned out the game, disillusioned, disappointed and in defeat. Of course, some Bronco fans didn’t tune out by choice.

Some people lost an hour of the game due to some technical difficulties with Time Warner Cable. Why some of these people didn’t switch to analog is beyond logic.

For its rapid fire start, the game became less and less exciting as the fans realized that the Broncos’ hearts were not in it.

Broncos fans most likely stayed tuned to watch the halftime show and the commercials. With an amazing performance by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, some tweeted that “there was a football game at the Bruno Mars concert.” Many people liked that the halftime show, it was family friendly and didn’t have twerking or semi-nude pop stars.

That wasn’t the only social media buzz. After the airing of Coca-Cola’s commercial, people were outraged by the national anthem’s bilingual performance. Instead of making people of all races and creeds shed a proud tear for America, it only exposed how intolerant and patriotic some people were.

Despite its almost unbelievable start, the game became boring as the Seahawks slaughtered the Broncos. If the Broncos had made the Seahawks fight for every yard and touchdown, it would have made for a more exciting game.
