Josh Herra and Jermaine Whiten are Cerritos College’s two leading running backs this year. Together the two have rushed an impressive 1234 yards and have had 15 touchdowns this year.

These two sophomores have had a great impact going toward Cerritos ranking this year. These guys are out their every game giving it their all non-stop playing with injuries all for their love of the game.

Q. What are your goals for the remainder of the season?

Jermaine. To win the remainder of our games and make it to the National Championships.

Q. What will it take for the Falcons as a team to make it this year?

Josh. Well we definitely need team work. We need to continue working as a team like we did in the beginning of the season.

Jermaine. We have the talent, our team is very talented group of guys and we just need to continue to put that into perspective.

Q. Looking further into the future, what school would you like to see yourself at?

Jermaine. Personally I will go anywhere they accept me because it doesn’t matter where I go. Small school or big, I’m gonna play the same.

Q. What is it about football that keeps you in the game?

Josh. It’s a rush you get just being out there.

Q. What do you think about the amount of yards you have accomplished this year?

Jermaine. Well you know what, say for example I get 300 yards in a game like I did in a previous game, but all that doesn’t matter if we don’t win.
