The Cerritos College women’s basketball team fell victim to a hot-shooting Orange Coast team after playing a tight first half against a 4th seeded team and dropped their playoff game 55-47.

Sophomore center Tiffany Amete hit a short jumper off an inbounds pass to give the Falcons a 46-45 lead with 2:52, but it would turn out to be the Falcon’s last lead of the game.

The Falcons missed their last five shots of the game to cap a disappointing final minutes in witch the iron was unkind to Cerritos.
