Library week this week

National Library Week will be from April 11-17. During this week, Cerritos College will have displays featuring the Library Club around campus.

It’s an annual celebration. Each year there is a different theme. This year’s theme is ” Communities, thrive at your libraries”. Here at Cerritos College there will be some of the most memorable activities.

There will be a library orientation on April 15 with Adviser Paula Pereira. It will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the library, building LC51.

The goal of NLW is to let every student know what services and resources are available for him or her. Also as the week goes by, there will be signs up saying when they will be waiving fines.

So those who owe anything to the library here is your chance to finally take care of business.

It’s our turn to extend a hand by introducing new information to family and friends about libraries and date systems.

For an example, there are new game websites to check out if interested.

If any student will like to become a library club member look for a sign up sheet at the end of the circulation counter or email Monica Lopez at [email protected]
