An update on Cerritos College construction

The three projects happening at Cerritos College include the renovation of Culinary Arts, the construction of the new Fine Arts and Math/CIS.

According to a Public Affairs press release, the CIS/Math Building is being funded by Measure CC Bond money.

The facility will be 33,000 square feet and will take the Technology Building’s place.

The new Fine Arts building is being funded by Measure G Bond dollars.

Project Manager, David Buted, expressed that the approximately 56,000 square feet building will house an exterior ceramics work yard and a separate film building.

Director of Physical Plant & Construction Services David Moore, said that the culinary staff is now occupying the space and it is essentially completed.
