The clubs of Cerritos College had not one, but two days to try to recruit new members and inform incoming students of what their club is about.
Last Wednesday and Thursday, all the active clubs on campus had stands lined up in Falcon Square giving out flyers, recruiting new members, passing out candy and lollipops, as well out giving out information about their club.
Alex Aguayo, president of the Queer Straight Alliance, is very happy that Cerritos allows its clubs to have such an event.
“It allows the clubs to not only inform other students, especially new ones, about the clubs on campus, but it also allows them to try to recruit new members,” he said.
