One Day as a Lion released its CD on July 22 and it has been filling the air waves ever since. The band whom got its name from a quote, “It’s better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb,” attempts to bring the sentiment found in this quote to musical form.
The self titled CD is a pleasant change to the common sound that is being played now on the alternative rock radio stations.
Though the sound is different, it is not new.
It is the same sound achieved by front man Zack de la Rocha in his other more famous musical project Rage Against the Machine.
Not only does this CD bring a different sound but also a sense of social consciousness in its lyrical content.
Again, an attribute found in Rage Against the Machine.
This new album is a great album that will affect every person who tries to understand the value of its words.
De la Rocha proves that in his CDs, the sound of the music is good but it is words that make his albums great.
