Cerritos forward David Barrera’s goal Friday at Long Beach City wasn’t enough for the Falcons as they lost to the Vikings, 3-1.
Falcons’ forward Alberto Gonzalez said, “It was scoreless in the first half. We were doing good, until the second half came and they scored.
“And then Barrera scored to tie up the game, but they scored two more on us.”
The Falcons (6-8-4, 3-6-3 in SCC) have three games left in the conference to play.
Gonzalez said they had really bad luck in the Long Beach game. “Hopefully we’ll do better against L.A. City.”
The Falcons will host Los Angeles City College Tuesday and play their last home game Friday against El Camino College.
Both games begin at 1 p.m.
