Over the years more and more students have been using email as a way of keeping in contact with their professors for help with assignments, questions about projects and even to report absences.

It has been a lot easier for students to complete assignments and to earn better grades because they now have easier access to help with problems.Some students have made good use of the email accounts while others have never used one.

“I had one assignment and she sent me one back,” comments student, Brandi Heard.

There are other students that do use it when they find it necessary or when the professor requests assignments or direct questions that are sent through email.”I’ve had some professors, yes and not really,” said psychology major, Joe Garcia. Cerritos College has also been issuing email addresses to students who wish to have one, but most students have been using other free email accounts such as yahoo or hotmail, even before attending college. However, it is there for the students who either don’t want to give out personal information or have not used email before.
